My honest opinion on Barzo vs Mezcal

My honest opinion on Barzo vs Mezcal:

My BMC Twostroke came with Barzo / Barzo tire. They are great tires for XC - Fast and grippy.

How only how side are the sidewalls a little too thin - my riders had slashed etc... I never had slashes on the sidewals - because the terrain if area does not have too much rocks / shape edges.

Another downside how the behave on low pressures (20psi or less). They tend to fold the sidewall on corners - which is scarry AF! I don't like Barzos on harpack+dry/loose. This is very typical conditions in my area. They have the tendendy to understeeer / wash out the frontend.

When the rear barzo got worn-out, I swap it for the old-front Barzo (with about 1/2 of tread-life left). And got a brand new Mezcal in the front.

I fell Mezcal is a better match for my riding conditions. I don't feel they are much faster them Barzo - but the perform much better on dry.

Riders usual setup is Barzo Front / Mezcal Rear. My bike is setup the other may around right now! My plans is to run Mezcal /Mezcal
