Designed for both road and urban cycling, the RT02 follows the "See and Be Seen" safety principle. It aims to maximize cyclist visibility while also warning riders of vehicles approaching from behind.

Compact Design

The RT02 features a minimalist, functional design measuring 64 × 42 × 24 mm, making it only slightly larger than a matchbox.

It includes:

• 40 high-brightness LEDs
• Maximum output of 73 lumens
• Visibility up to:
• 500 meters at night
• 1.6 kilometers during daylight
• Five lighting modes with different brightness and flashing patterns

Brake Light Function

In addition to its normal lighting modes, the RT02 includes a built-in deceleration sensor.

When braking, the light automatically increases its brightness, functioning as a brake light to better alert drivers behind the cyclist.

Automatic Sleep Mode

To conserve battery life, the RT02 includes a vibration sensor.

• After 30 seconds of inactivity, it automatically enters sleep mode.
• It wakes up again as soon as the bicycle begins moving.

Rear Vehicle Detection

The RT02's main differentiator is its built-in anti-collision radar.

Using 24 GHz millimeter-wave radar, it detects vehicles approaching from behind and alerts the rider before they get too close.

Detection Range

• Cars: up to 60 meters
• Motorcycles: up to 30 meters

The warning system provides:

• One beep when a vehicle first enters radar range.
• Two beeps once the vehicle is approximately 10 meters away.

According to Cyclami, the radar provides:

• Horizontal detection angle: 54°
• Vertical detection angle: 27°

This allows approaching vehicles to be detected even while riding through curves.

To reduce nuisance alerts, the radar filters out cyclists traveling at approximately the same speed.

Battery

The RT02 uses a rechargeable 1000 mAh lithium-ion battery, charged through a USB-C port.

Battery life ranges from:

• 3 hours
• Up to 6 hours

depending on the selected lighting mode.

The device is rated IP64, providing protection against rain and water splashes.
